Portraits
Zack Gossiaux is a very tall and awkward friend of mine. We have been friends ever since middle school at Ann Arbor Christian School. He can always lighten the mood for me and cheer me up with his goofiness. The place in which I took the photo was after a soccer game at Wide World Sports. It sort of symbolizes our friendship through sports and how we are goofy together. For me, the most challenging part of this project was the lighting. Usually, by the time people were home it was dark outside so for many of my photos I had to use indoor lighting. A way that I attempted to triumph this was by putting the photo in black and white. This made the yellowness of the photo less visible. I made the color of his shirt show because it represents his joyful personality.
